Engine mounts for Ford Barra engine in Volvo 740 /760 /940 /960
Very stable mounts with a perfect fit.
Fits all Ford Barra engines (2002-2016) with rear oil pan.
This is a good but big engine so it will take some work to get it to fit.
You need to cut off a piece of the “skeleton” that strengthens under the hood. Just above the front edge of the engine where it is at its highest.
You need to make the gimbal tunnel larger at the torpedo wall to accommodate the gearbox. The best way is to cut out and weld new sheet metal to make it bigger, but it is also possible to massage the sheet enough with a sledgehammer, but then it will be cramped.
You need to shorten part of the oil pan and thereby also extend the oil pickup. See pictures of options. Depending on how you remove the trough, you may need to remove a bit of the front beam as well.

NEW! All our motor mounts can now be upgraded with polyurethane bushings in different hardnesses.
Now you can adapt your engine mounts to how you use the car.
Softer bushings for street and smaller/lighter engines and harder bushings for track/heavier engines.
