The Volvo 240 has a very loose support bearing holder for the cardan shaft.

This bracket makes it possible to mount a much more stable support bearing holder from 740 /940 instead.

Fits both 240, 740 and 940 gimbal.
Fits both Ø44.5mm and Ø50.8mm gimbal, but buy the right bearing and holder for your particular gimbal.
